Peter Talbot AIA Architects is an award-winning general practice of Architecture, Design & Planning in northwestern Connecticut founded in 1989.
Specializing in residential, commercial and institutional projects the firm is equally at home with planning, historic preservation, modern interpretation, new construction, restoration and renovation. Principal, Peter Talbot, has studied and practiced environmentally sustainable architecture and planning for over 35 years and the firm has a LEED-certified member of the staff.
Focusing on combining the client's needs, aesthetics, context and environment, with exciting designs that visualize properties holistically and pragmatically, the Firm works with municipalities, including historic districts, to facilitate the process. Mr. Talbot served as a commissioner on the Historic District in Washington, CT for over 17 years.
The firm has created Plans of Development to create open space, affordable and elder housing, adaptive re-use and cultural and business centers to help communities develop a more sustainable built environment.
A member of the American Institute of Architects for over 25 years, Mr. Talbot is a licensed architect in NY, CT & MA and is NCARB certified.
